I was a Mario fanatic. I had the first Pong game and thought it was great and then Atarti and I thought it was fantastic, so you know when Nintendo came out, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I made everyone I know mad playing Mario Bros so much. There was no save, so you didn't want to turn it off. It took me forever to do what these guys do in minutes. I still play with every new system that comes out, but Atari and Nintendo changed my world for awhile.

For someone to whom all such things are a puzzling blur - I was proud of myself that I 'got' what it was about - I must confess I did advance the vid a little in the middle - fast forwarded it with the button thingy.
I liked it at the end when the players came out from whereever they were and one turned his hat around - game over - now I know why people wear their brims turned around!!! So they can see the game/screen of course. Duh!
Through my life I have avoided a lot of things that have addicitive qualities - I know myself too well!!!
(Blogs caught me unawares however.)
