Sing Along - Please Remember Me - Tim McGraw

This is a beautiful song and it reminds me of an old love. I hope you will sing along. Click on link to see video.

Please Remember Me

(rodney crowell/will jennings)

When all our tears have reached the sea
Part of you will live in me
Way down deep inside my heart
The days keep coming without fail
A new wind is gonna find your sail
That’s where your journey starts

You’ll find better love
Strong as it ever was
Deep as the river runs
Warm as the morning sun
Please remember me

Just like the waves down by the shore
We’re gonna keep on coming back for more
’cause we don’t ever wanna stop
Out in this brave new world you seek
Oh the valleys and the peaks
And I can see you on the top

You’ll find better love
Strong as it ever was
Deep as the river runs
Warm as the morning sun
Please remember me

Remember me when you’re out walkin’
When the snow falls high outside your door
Late at night when you’re not sleepin’
And moonlight falls across your floor
When I can’t hurt you anymore

You’ll find better love
Strong as it ever was
Deep as the river runs
Warm as the morning sun
Please remember me
Please remember me

For Dex. I am reposting "Takers" for one of my blog mates. There are some bad folks in the world and everytime they hurt or use someone they add another brick of bitterness to our collective wall. I wrote this about those sociopaths.

In the dank, dark, lousy cells of your mind
Do you find from time-to-time a respite

Do you burn all the day
Do you hate all the night

Do you sometimes suffer from fright

Have you cried a tear that was not for show
Had a moment when you stubbed your toe

Was there ever a time when you did not lie
No, that would take effort - you would have to try

Your one of the mean ones
The takers - the spies
Stay away from me
You make me cry

Mario Contest

I was a Mario fanatic. I had the first Pong game and thought it was great and then Atarti and I thought it was fantastic, so you know when Nintendo came out, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I made everyone I know mad playing Mario Bros so much. There was no save, so you didn't want to turn it off. It took me forever to do what these guys do in minutes. I still play with every new system that comes out, but Atari and Nintendo changed my world for awhile.

Car Prank

The rain has stopped. Thank goodness for that. We were all starting to float away. I prayed for rain, but didn't want to turn the streets into rivers.

I noticed the Redneck video wasn't working, at least for me, so I found a replacement video. This reminds me of my cousins. Boys are so mean. (and funny)

Neil Young - Prairie Wind

Neil Young has a new album out (yes, I still call them albums!) It is titled "Prairie Wind" You can listen to the whole thing at
I think that is nice. They don't just let you hear a snippet. You hear each song in it's entirety.

I am listening now to a song called "The Painter" and I like it. This sounds like classic Young. O I like "No Wonder" even more than the first one. I will be buying this one fer sure. I have not bought an album since I don't know when. I just download songs now and burn the cd's. Below are the lyrics to a favorite old Young. I hope you enjoy. I used the "Harvest" album for the picture, because it was such an outstanding accomplishment. My favorite Neil Young album so far.

"Don't Let It Bring You Down"

Old man lying
by the side of the road
With the lorries rolling by,
Blue moon sinking
from the weight of the load
And the building scrape the sky,
Cold wind ripping
down the alley at dawn
And the morning paper flies,
Dead man lying
by the side of the road
With the daylight in his eyes.

Don't let it bring you down
It's only castles burning,
Find someone who's turning
And you will come around.

Blind man running
through the light
of the night
With an answer in his hand,
Come on down
to the river of sight
And you can really understand,
Red lights flashing
through the window
in the rain,
Can you hear the sirens moan?
White cane lying
in a gutter in the lane,
If you're walking home alone.

Don't let it bring you down
It's only castles burning,
Just find someone who's turning
And you will come around.

Don't let it bring you down
It's only castles burning,
Just find someone who's turning
And you will come around.

I love Oscar Wilde! Here are a few favorite quotes:

"One should always play fairly when one has the winning cards."

"Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much."

"A little sincerity is a dangerous thing, and a great deal of it is absolutely fatal."

"No man is rich enough to buy back his past."

"I prefer women with a past. They're always so damned amusing to talk to."-- “Lady Windermere's Fan”

"It is perfectly monstrous the way people go about, nowadays, saying things against one behind one's back that are absolutely and entirely true."-- “The Picture of Dorian Gray”

"Life is never fair...And perhaps it is a good thing for most of us that it is not."-- “An Ideal Husband”

"We are each our own devil, and we make this world our hell."-- “The Duchess of Padua”

"The world is a stage, but the play is badly cast."-- “Lord Arthur Savile's Crime”

"To love oneself is the beginning of a life-long romance."-- “An Ideal Husband”

Annie Lennox -"The Thin Line Between Love And Hate"

"The Thin Line Between Love And Hate"

It's a thin line between love and hate
It's a thin line between love and hate

It's five o'clock in the morning
And you're just gettin' in
A knock upon the door
A voice sweet and low says (who is it?)
She opens up the door
And she lets you in
And never once does she say "where have you been?"

She says "Hold it,
Are you hungry, did you eat yet,
Let me hang up your coat now"
And all the time she's smiling
Never raises her voice
It's five o'clock in the morning
And you don't give it a second thought

It's a thin line between love and hate
It's a thin line between love and hate

The sweetest woman in the world
Could be the meanest woman in the world
If you make her be that way
She might be holding something in
That's really gonna hurt you
One of these fine days

There you are in the hospital
Bandaged from foot to head
In a state of shock
That much from bein' dead
You didn't think your woman
Could do something like that to you
You didn't think she'd got the nerve
Accidents speak louder than words
Louder than words
Louder than words
Louder than words

Come on
Come on, baby, baby
If you won't give a damn about me
Come on baby, baby
You don't really care about me

Hear what I say
Hear what I say

I love Annie.

So Tired

I want to throw things and break glass
Scream at the top of my lungs
I want one tiny teeny little space where it is not ugly
Loud, unfeeling and hateful
I want I want I want

Repost: Please Dont Judas Me

Please don't Judas me
Treat me as you like to be treated
Please don't blacklist me
Leave me as you'd wish to find me
Don't analyze me, sacrifice me
Please don't judas me.

Please don't chastise me
Show me just one shred of kindness
Try to help me see
Guide me in my eyes of blindness
Don't despise me, categorize me
Please don't judas me.

No, no don't judas me
No, please don't judas me

Please don't headshrink me
Don't disguise your innuendos
Make no lies to me
I can see the way the wind blows
Don't deface me, annihilate me
Please don't judas me.

Please don't number me
Don't betray my trusted promise
Please don't anger me
I find it hard to bear no fairness
Don't frustrate me, manipulate me
Please don't judas me

No no don't judas me
No,please don't judas me

Banned Mastercard Commercial

I know I am being lazy, but things have been overwhelming me of late. Not just doom despair oh misery on high stuff, but real reality stuff. I have no energy left to write. You may have seen this, it is not new, but it is funny. I haven't gotten tired of the "Priceless" gags yet. I hope you laugh.

Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen

Great Sing-A-Long and thanks to Google we have the video of Queen and the Lyrics.
Crank it.

Bohemian Rhapsody
written by Freddie Mercury

Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide
No escape from reality
Open your eyes
Look up to the skies and see
I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy
Because I'm easy come, easy go
A little high, little low
Anyway the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me, to me

Mama, just killed a man
Put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead
Mama, life had just begun
But now I've gone and thrown it all away
Mama, ooo
Didn't mean to make you cry
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters

Too late, my time has come
Sends shivers down my spine
Body's aching all the time
Goodbye everybody - I've got to go
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth
Mama, ooo - (anyway the wind blows)
I don't want to die
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all

I see a little silhouetto of a man
Scaramouch, scaramouch will you do the fandango
Thunderbolt and lightning - very very frightening me
Gallileo, Gallileo,
Gallileo, Gallileo,
Gallileo Figaro - magnifico

But I'm just a poor boy and nobody loves me
He's just a poor boy from a poor family
Spare him his life from this monstrosity
Easy come easy go - will you let me go
Bismillah! No - we will not let you go - let him go
Bismillah! We will not let you go - let him go
Bismillah! We will not let you go - let me go
Will not let you go - let me go (never)
Never let you go - let me go
Never let me go - ooo
No, no, no, no, no, no, no -
Oh mama mia, mama mia, mama mia let me go
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me
for me
for me

So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye
So you think you can love me and leave me to die
Oh baby - can't do this to me baby
Just gotta get out - just gotta get right outta here

Ooh yeah, ooh yeah
Nothing really matters
Anyone can see
Nothing really matters - nothing really matters to me

Anyway the wind blows...

The Apprentice Donald Trump VS Charlie Manson Video

Blogging (scroll down for Trump video)

I am not a very social person. I am happiest with my computer, Tv and a good book. I care little or nothing for going out and about or participating in events or activities, but I sure like to blog. I started this one in 2001. I didn't publish it for years though. I just posted my bad poetry and used it to grouse when I was depressed. It was called "Ramblings of a Manic Depressive" back then. I thought I was so original - till I Googled the name. There was a book published in the 70's by that name, rut roh, so I being the original person I am - stole from Pink Floyd, my favorite band ever. I figure that whatever medium I choose to use, the bad poetry, music lyrics, art or video, that I am revealing my self and therefore am blogging. The things I post, show who I am at the time I post them. I am not always pretty. I find I like and watch for a comment. It is interesting and somehow validating, knowing that somewhere, in some way, I connected with someone.
I am enjoying at the moment. I love a good video. This is not new, but is kinda funny if your an "Apprentice" fan. Trump Vs Manson.
